Late Wednesday night, a shooting on the southbound 215 Freeway near Baseline Road in San Bernardino left one person injured. The victim, whose identity has not been released, was shot in the hip during a car-to-car shooting. According to Officer Sandoval of the California Highway Patrol, the victim is expected to survive.
The incident occurred at around 11:20 p.m. and led to the closure of the southbound freeway for investigation. The freeway was reopened by 12:30 a.m. on Thursday.
The authorities have not yet released any information about the suspects or the motive behind the shooting.
