A hit-and-run suspect is being sought in East Los Angeles, and a reward is being offered

Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who struck a pedestrian in East Los Angeles and left him hospitalized.

According to Los Angeles Police, the collision occurred on December 24 as the male victim was walking across Huntington Drive on Kendall Avenue around 3:40 p.m.

According to police, the victim was walking his dog and using a crosswalk at the time.

According to LAPD, the victim was about to reach the crosswalk's midpoint when he was hit by a green Toyota Tundra truck making a left turn.

After hitting the victim, the suspect drove away from the scene. According to authorities, the impact severely injured the victim.

According to police, the truck could be from 2007 to 2013. Custom wheels, running boards, and a truck bed cover are included.

A reward of up to $25,000 will be offered for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the suspect.
