Road-Rage Shooting and Crash on 91 Freeway in Corona Leaves Man Injured

According to the California Highway Patrol, a man was injured in a road-rage shooting and subsequent crash on the 91 Freeway in Corona on Sunday night.

The incident occurred near the Main Street exit of the freeway at approximately 10:40 p.m. The victim, driving a Dodge Ram, was allegedly shot at by a man driving a Toyota Camry. The suspect also attempted to hit the victim with his vehicle, eventually succeeding, as reported by the CHP.

The victim, who is in his 30s, sustained minor injuries from the crash but was not hit by gunfire. The suspect, identified as a 44-year-old man, fled the scene, and it is unclear if he has been arrested at this time.

Following the incident, video footage showed the severely damaged Toyota Camry and Dodge Ram being towed from the highway. The freeway was temporarily closed to investigate the incident and remove the vehicles, but it was later reopened.

The authorities are investigating the shooting as an act of highway violence. As of now, no further information has been released regarding the incident.
